The Power Of Breath

I want you to stop whatever you’re doing right now and take a deep breath in.

Inhale, slowly through your nose, for the count of 4, expanding your lungs and drawing the air deep down into your belly.

Then I want you to hold this breath for the count of 4…

Then exhale, slowly through your mouth, for the count of 4.

And again hold, for the count of 4.

Now repeat this four times.

Congratulations, you’ve just discovered your body’s built-in reset button and calmed your nervous system.

And it’s that simple, there really is no need to overcomplicate things.

Controlled breathing, like what you’ve just practiced, has been shown to reduce stress, slow the heart and oxygenate your body.

In fact, studies have found that breathing practices can help reduce symptoms associated with anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, depression and ADHD.

This calming practice has been around for generations but it does need to be practiced consistently for the full results to be realised.

This is where tmrw comes in.

Tmrw is the world’s first breathwork device that takes you through a deep relaxation exercise through the power of light and sound.

Resting beside you, tmrw projects a soft orange orb of light onto the ceiling above you.

Simply sync your breath with the light so as the circle of light expands, so too do your lungs as you take a deep breath in. When the circle pauses, you hold and as the circle retracts, you slowly breathe out before repeating this cycle.

Each cycle lasts for 15 seconds which slows your breathing to just four breath cycles per minute.

At the same time, you can choose from one of four soundscapes infused with healing frequencies.

This complete sensory experience focuses your attention, stopping your mind from wandering, calming the noise in our heads and cueing the body for rest.

When used at night, tmrw is the most natural and effective way to fall asleep.
